# Olympus View

> Olympus View is a free, source-available cross-platform WiFi file manager for Olympus and OM System cameras. It can browse, download, and delete photos directly on compatible cameras over the local camera WiFi network. Android supports QR-code connection and background downloads; Windows and Web builds are also available.

Olympus View is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OM Digital Solutions, Olympus Corporation, or OM System.

Current stable Android release: **v1.3.6 (build 15), released August 16, 2026**.

Important upgrade note: direct APK users on v1.3.5 or older must uninstall the old build and install v1.3.6 once because v1.3.6 introduced the permanent production Android signing certificate. Future direct APK updates use the permanent signing identity and do not require another reinstall.
